Peacebuilding 2.0: Managing Complexity and Working Across Silos Every
year, the Alliance for Peacebuilding (AfP) holds its Annual Conference,
providing an opportunity for AfP members and others within the peacebuilding
field to come together and discuss current issues, demonstrate new models for
studying peacebuilding and develop collaborative initiatives.
The AfP 2012 Annual Conference, entitled, Peacebuilding
2.0: Managing Complexity and Working Across Silos, was
held May 10 to 12 in Washington, DC, with a focus on complexity, and new models
for peacebuilding. With three consecutive days of programming and events, over
two hundred AfP members and participants came together to discuss the complex
nature of the field, and to demonstrate new models for peacebuilding that work
across disciplines in chaotic, fragile environments. See below for
selected notes, links and photos from the event.
