Get Involved; Make the Gift of Peace

Support the Women PeaceMakers Program on its 10th Anniversary.
For a decade the Women PeaceMakers Program at the IPJ has documented the stories and best practices of women leaders from conflict zones, allowing students, researchers and the local community to learn from grassroots changemakers around the world. To commemorate its 10th anniversary in 2012, we will be bringing these remarkable women from over 30 countries back to the IPJ for a Summit and international conference to strategize cutting-edge peacebuilding methods with organizations such as the Nobel Women’s Initiative and UN Women.

Expand the Institute's Impact
When Ms. Joan B. Kroc endowed the Institute for Peace & Justice over 10 years ago, she saw it as a place not just to talk about peace, but to make peace. The Institute now has peacebuilding projects in Nepal, West Africa, Kenya, Guatemala, as well as WorldLink, an educational program for youth in the San Diego /Tijuana region. Your contribution will help the IPJ continue to engage in the work of local and global peacemaking with justice through our many projects.

Special Giving Level
Donate $1,500 or more and you will be included in the IPJ Leadership Circle, which includes invitations to private receptions and special briefings at the IPJ plus a complimentary set of Distinguished Lecture Series booklets, and membership in USD's President's Club, with invitations to special events ranging from sports to the arts.
