The Coventry University in the United Kingdom is offering scholarships through The Allan & Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust for the online MA course in Peacebuilding. The online MA in Peacebuilding is designed to enable mid and senior level professionals working in various peacebuilding areas including humanitarian action, post-conflict, reconstruction, education, security, social development, law, and governance, to acquire an MA qualification in one year.
The program evaluates participants’ professional and training experience and mapping it against the first 120M credits of a Masters program by the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL); and allowing them to then complete an MA through a subject specialist assignment and a dissertation.
This course of study consists of one online module on the theory and practice of peacebuilding and independent research leading to a dissertation.
The competition for scholarships is intense and the applications are of a high standard.
