Conflict Resolution, Research and Resource Institute (CRI) Contact: Polly Davis, Associate Director resolution@qwest.net CRI's mission is to promote "civility in conflict and equity in resolution" in our training and practices for the prevention, management and resolution of conflict in the community, the nation and the world through the utilization of time-tested theories, processes and techniques which ensure equitable, practical and lasting agreements. We enable and empower people from a project's start to completion by active inclusion to ensure true senses of equity and ownership of processes, product development, and outcomes. CRI staff and Associates are practitioners—assessors, conciliators, fact finders, negotiators, mediators, system developers, curriculum developers, and capacity building trainers. CRI exemplifies a working presence that produces dynamic and durable results whether it was assisting Nicaragua in preparing for its post war transitional government or jointly working with Russian colleagues in developing a broadly applicable conflictology program in St. Petersburg or assisting Poland's Solidarity in reunification following a period of fractionation or helping to prepare all parties for the Guatemala Peace Process or developing a dispute prevention and resolution capability with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights or working in Sudan with the Council of Churches as well as with the Peace Culture Center and the National Center for Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or facilitating initial strategic planning with former Commanders, freedom fighters, and "war lords" in Afghanistan.
