AfP’s #CreativityInCrisis: Getting Started in GIS

The Alliance for Peacebuilding is excited to announce the release of our next #CreativityInCrisis video that wraps up our GIS series! This final video explores how the geoBoundaries team got started in GIS and HOW YOU CAN ALSO GET STARTED IN IT! Throughout the series we’ve highlighted different GIS techniques and how they were used to enhance programming and facilitate data collection in remote settings. This video also highlights open-source software and tools available to get started in your GIS journey.

geoBoundaries is the world’s largest open, free and research-ready database of political administrative boundaries tracking approximately 300,000 boundaries across 199 entities.
