Join AfP Vice President Liz Hume along with Alayna Tetreault-Rooney, Senior Violence Prevention Advisor at USAID/CVP, Sara Batmanglich, Senior Operations Officer at the World Bank's Fragility, Conflict and Violence (FCV) Group and Rachel Locke, Director of Impact: Peace at the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice for this virtual event hosted by USAID. Register here.

As USAID’s new Center for Conflict and Violence Prevention (CVP) incorporates non-conflict violence prevention into its portfolio, it is exploring what practitioners from the two fields can learn from one another. This webinar will highlight the frameworks conflict and violence prevention practitioners use to understand risk and resilience factors to different forms of violence. Presenters will explore current conflict and violence trends, discuss how and why practitioners from the two fields tend to see the world differently, and provide an overview of the strengths and weaknesses of existing frameworks across the two fields.
