Locally-Led Peacebuilding Community of Practice
Launched August 2023
The Locally Led Peacebuilding Community of Practice (LLPB CoP), previously a working group, is a space for and by local peacebuilders. It is also open to international organizations who are eager to learn with and from the participants and the space. Ultimately, it is a space:
to foster connections and share innovative and practical research;
to gather support in efforts designed to shift power in peacebuilding practice, as prioritized by the locally led CoP member organizations; and
if desired by the group, for organized task forces that work towards outputs in order to make change at any level.
Our Mission
The LLPB CoP is a diverse and collaborative network of peacebuilders who gather to learn together, address challenges, share good practices, and raise shared challenges/questions; to amplify the importance of and increase access for local leadership in efforts to build sustainable peace; and to reflect these values individually and organizationally.
