Today's America faces a crisis of democracy and governance resulting in increasing conflict drivers that are threatening peace and stability.  Now more than ever we need peacebuilders to address racial injustice and inequality and worsening polarization and divisions in the United States.  These conflict dynamics are also being accelerated by the global pandemic. COVID 19  is disproportionately affecting communities of color and marginalized communities domestically and exacerbated structural and economic inequalities inherent in the US and deepening political divides.
