On Thursday, September 24th at 1pm ET, AfP, The Asia Foundation, the Stimson Center, Saferworld, and the Transparency, Accountability and Participation (TAP) Network will host a hybrid UN General Assembly side event in New York on how the UN can reclaim its founding peace and security mandate amidst record conflict and shrinking prevention funding. The conversation will establish metrics and milestones for a prevention-oriented peace and security agenda over the next 10 years and lay out a vision of success for the next Secretary-General.
